Wales earn £3m through Euro 2016

The Football Association of Wales has managed to earn a £3m profit through their participation at the Euro 2016 in France.


Indeed the good run by the national side has helped them win the £3m prize money.

The Football Association of Wales chief executive said that the money will be spent in the development of football and that they want to improve their facilities further. He stated that the development of women’s football is their priority at the moment.

He stated that they are already reaping the rewards of their investment in men’s football and that they want to do the same with women’s football. The chief executive said that it has always been the priority of the Football Association of Wales to develop women’s football and that they want to use the money available to do so.

He said that the Association is a non-profit organization and that all the money will be invested back in the game. He stated that ever since he has been elected at the head of the association he has increased investment in women football, and he will continue to do same.

He said that that the Football Association of Wales want to continue to invest in infrastructure so as to help football to develop further. He said that he does not want only to focus on the footballing elite but also on football at the grassroots level.

He said that they want to keep the good work going and ensure that Wales qualify for the next World Cup. He believes that they have a good squad and that the players are ready for the qualifiers. He said that the Football Association of Wales would give the national side all the necessary resources to help them achieve their objectives.
